Miriam Hayman L.Ac. MSAOM

Founder of Holistic Healing Acupuncture

Miriam Hayman is a Licensed Acupuncturist and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, licensed by the acupuncture boards of both Idaho and California. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University in Los Angeles and has been in active practice since 2017.

Miriam is passionate about delivering high-quality acupuncture care in a compassionate, nurturing environment. She treats a wide range of conditions, with a particular focus on pain management and sports medicine.

Her training spans several distinct acupuncture styles, including Chinese, Korean, and Master Tung-style acupuncture, allowing her to draw from multiple modalities in each session. This versatility enables her to tailor treatments to the unique needs of every patient.

In addition to acupuncture, Miriam is a qualified herbalist and incorporates custom herbal prescriptions, nutritional and supplement guidance, and traditional healing techniques such as cupping, tuina, guasha, acupressure, and moxibustion.

Miriam knew from a young age that she wanted to be a holistic healer and thoroughly enjoys seeing patients and practicing acupuncture. She treats a wide variety of medical conditions, including pain and other physical ailments, and her treatments also include mental and emotional health. She understands the importance of mental health, as she was a volunteer counselor for over two years at the Los Angeles Suicide Prevention Line. This vocation comes natural to her, as she is approachable, warm, empathic and a good listener. She truly embraces treating the mind, body, and spirit as a whole.

Professionally, Miriam gained advanced clinical experience working at top-tier sports clinics in Los Angeles, including Sports Rehab LA, where she had the opportunity to treat professional athletes from the NBA and NFL. She also broadened her scope of care while working in a family clinic in Flagstaff, Arizona, treating patients across a wide range of health conditions.

Miriam was born and grew up in Sydney Australia and is an "Aussie" from "Down Under.” Miriam founded Holistic Healing Acupuncture back in March 2022 after moving to Boise Idaho. Miriam looks forward to serving our local community.
